About TryFinCalc
TryFinCalc is built and maintained by Youssef Aaouam, a web designer and independent investor. I create calculators and educational guides to help people explore financial scenarios. TryFinCalc does not provide personalized financial advice, lender approval estimates, or professional tax or legal advice.
Calculation accuracy and limits
TryFinCalc uses standard time-value-of-money formulas documented on our Methodology page. Automated tests compare each implementation with independently calculated examples. Results are estimates and may exclude taxes, fees, insurance, lender rules, or local costs unless those inputs are shown.
The tools use illustrative fixed-rate inputs. A displayed currency does not select a country's lending or tax rules. Start with the methodology and exclusions, then replace the defaults with your own assumptions.
Funding and independence
TryFinCalc may be supported by advertising and, in the future, clearly disclosed affiliate links. Compensation does not change calculator formulas, examples, or editorial conclusions. TryFinCalc does not accept payment for lender rankings.
Authorship and corrections
Youssef Aaouam is the named author and maintainer. No external professional review or financial qualification is claimed. The editorial policy explains source selection, conflicts and corrections.
Report an error with the page URL, inputs and expected result to hello@tryfincalc.com. Do not send account details or other sensitive financial information.
Privacy
Calculations run in your browser after the initial example is rendered. Calculator inputs are not submitted by the calculation forms. Analytics and consent services are described in the Privacy Policy.
